TJ Rogers From the Ground Up éS Part

There’s something about breaking in new shoes that’s oddly satisfying. Like when the sole finally molds just right, but you’re still paranoid about scuff marks. Europe has those stone ledges that look like they’ve been there forever, probably outlasting a few skate crews and a couple of pigeons. Then there’s DTLA, where the streets have a rhythm of their own, and the old haunts never really change, even if you do. Sometimes it’s just about the quiet moments between the noise, or the way a city smells when you’re not paying attention. Or maybe it’s just the way the laces untie themselves at the worst times.
