Daiki Hoshino in Huf Worldwide’s Box Truck Video

That box truck sitting in the lot probably has a weird smell. Like, a mix of old pizza and something chemical. It’s the kind of thing that makes you wonder if anyone ever cleans it or if it’s just left to stew. Sometimes you think about how many random things get loaded into those trucks and where they all end up. Then your mind drifts to the time you forgot your keys and had to wait outside a bodega for what felt like forever. The sun was low and the street was quiet except for a couple of cars rolling by.

There’s a rhythm to those moments, even if nothing really happens. Like the way a shadow moves across a cracked sidewalk or how a bird lands on a wire and just stays there. Then you notice a loose piece of tape flapping in the breeze and wonder if it’s been there since last summer or just today. And then you forget what you were thinking about.
